Veterinary Technician and Technician Assistant – ICU & Surgery Departments

Summit is hiring Technicians and assistants to work in our ICU and Surgery Departments to care for our surgical and specialty inpatients for our August 2026 opening.

For our ICU applicants: If you want high-level inpatient nursing without the chaos of a walk-in ER, this role was built for you. You’ll work directly with our board-certified criticalist — a dedicated hospitalist who is here exclusively for your patients and for you. Day, swing, and overnight shifts available.

For our surgery applicants: You’ll work in a structured, non-emergency environment alongside board-certified specialists — scrubbing into surgeries, managing anesthesia, and building real clinical depth. At Summit, your skills are central to how we deliver care. You’ll work alongside board-certified specialists and a dedicated criticalist who is invested in your growth — providing hands-on training and raising the standard of care every day.

Relief Veterinarian — Overnight & Weekend Shifts

Summit is building a relief pool of experienced veterinarians to cover overnight and weekend shifts for our hospitalized specialty patients ahead of our August 2026 opening.

This is not a traditional ER role. Every patient in our hospital arrives through daytime specialty services — known, worked up, and with a care plan in place before your shift begins. You’ll have full technician support throughout, and our criticalist, Dr. Tzipory, is always reachable for escalations. Specialists are on call for case-specific questions around the clock.
