He earned his DVM from the University of California, Davis, completed a small animal internship at California Veterinary Specialists in Carlsbad, and pursued specialty training in comparative ophthalmology right here at Colorado State University

Dr. Arnold’s clinical focus is the surgical management of ocular disease, with particular expertise in corneal repair and cataract surgery. In addition to private practice, he is actively involved in clinical teaching and collaborative case management, and is deeply committed to making complex ophthalmic care understandable.
Dr. Trevor Arnold, DVM, MS, DACVO, is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. He has been a pillar of the veterinary community along the Front range since 2009, working in both private practice and as clinical faculty at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. His breadth of experience spans companion and working animals, teaching cases, and conservation medicine. He is widely known among colleagues, clients, and animal care teams for combining advanced surgical skill with a calm, compassionate, and highly approachable bedside manner.

Education lives at the core of Dr. Arnold's approach to medicine. For Dr. Arnold, education is also a force multiplier. By dedicating time to teaching medical professionals at local hospitals and students at Colorado State University, his influence extends well beyond the patients in his exam room, reaching families and their pets he may never directly treat.
